Looking for a Streamlabs Media Share alternative?
Consider Better Media Share if you want viewer requests to happen inside Twitch with Bits, supported video trimming and a dashboard where each moderator has specific controls. Check the extension’s release availability before planning a stream around viewer purchases.
Consider Streamlabs if tip-page requests or Cloudbot’s free chat requests match how you want your audience to participate. Its documentation also covers moderator access and OBS Studio, so those capabilities are not exclusive to Better Media Share.
Neither a supported link nor a moderation queue guarantees that a provider will allow a video to play. Whichever tool you choose, test the intended workflow and review requests before they reach your stream.
Moving your media-share workflow
Better Media Share does not import a Streamlabs queue, block list or moderator configuration. Set up your player, re-add your moderators with the appropriate permissions, choose your pricing and test the queue before changing your viewer instructions.
Start with the OBS setup guide and moderation guide. Explain the new submission location and payment model to viewers before accepting requests.
This comparison is written by Better Media Share’s maker. It compares our implementation with Streamlabs’ published documentation, not an independent hands-on review. Streamlabs is a separate product and is not affiliated with Better Media Share.
